Iveco to supply first batch of buses for Baku public transport

January 20, 2015. Baku Bus LLC has determined itself with timing of receipt of the first batch of modern buses for public transport of Baku. The company has stated that the first batch of buses will be imported already in February.

   "Also, work on the construction of a 15 hectare bus park on Zykh Highway is under completion. The work is to be finished before the first batch of buses," Baku Bus informed.

   Baku Bus LLC was established in the Baku City Executive Power with the purpose of modernization of the public transport system of the capital. Within the contract, the value of which exceeds 50 million euro, Iveco Bus will deliver 151 bus Crealis with natural gas engines Cursor 8 CNG. Created specifically to upgrade urban bus fleets, low floor bus Crealis provides convenient access to the salon for passengers with disabilities.
